Ruckus Heads: Mill, Lap, Deburr
After the cylinder head is milled we remove all of the sharp edges and lap for a perfectly prepared deck surface. If this is not done
correctly you will you have a good chace of leaking oil, coolant, compression and even torching your head from blow by. You may also
mill the head to decrease your chamber volume which will increase your compression ratio. HOWEVER, DO NOT GET CARRIED AWAY. Many shops
will simply mill your head to death in attempt to gain horsepower. This short cut method can put you in grave danger of a catastrophic
engine failure from then piston hammering almost 200 times a second with over 500 lbs of inertia.
