Team SSC 2 of the Midwest fastest imports gear up for the 2003 race season. After placing 3rd overall in the NOPI drag war series Pro Class, Joe Demaree gears up for 2003 with a new competition cylinder head from DPR East coast. After running the same DPR pocket port head for three years with no problems, Joe felt it was time for more power to stay competitive. Matching his new cylinder head is a 85mm big bore block combined with a car that was put on a serious diet over the winter the 2003 season is looking very promising for Joe and his team. Carey Bales is also looking forward to the new season, After placing 2nd at the Battle of the Imports Chicago last year. It should be fun to watch Carey battle with the big boys in his first full season. Good Luck to Joe, Carey, and the rest of Team SSC in 2003.
