A guy named Janos wants us to do some R&D on his little Dodge Srt-4. So we come up with a DPR head. Then he takes it to a shop for assembly. The shop also does their own head work but really liked the DPR job. The shop installs the DPR head and the same box of turbo kit goodies that everyone is using. They dyno test it and he beats the best recorded hp gains on the forums by 40 hp and most by 60 hp and that is with a safe 510hp or so with tuning backed off from his 525 and not even test and tuning utilizing race fuel and a different computer programs which should be good for around 600-640 (and let's not forget about the 75 nitrous on top of everything).

Well he wanted to try latest trends out here which is road racing trials similar to sportsman drag racing or autocross, actually is called Timeattack.
We recommended him to drop down to about 400whp, consult an alignment man at Progress Auto, and get a few tips from Andy Styx one of our drivers.
On march 4th Janos drove his SRT 4 to the track armed with standard street tires, Toyo Proxes T1R, Marisol, his girlfriend for the pit crew, a tire pressure gauge, and a cooler full of Noni drinks and sandwiches. Janos drove up the grid and went out on his first time on a real track. Once warmed up Janos started out running over two 2 minutes a lap. Then DPR driver Andy of Andy Stixs Racing gave some driving tips to Janos and lap by lap he ran faster and faster. By the time practice ended Saturday he was down to a very competitive high twenties a lap. With a big smile Janos commented “ this is a blast .. It sure beats Playstation2 or X-BOX!”

Sunday he drove back to California Speedway to enter his first race. Despite his stock brakes fading and lapped cars not moving aside, Janos took the checkard flag in front landing his first victory.
Not yet a rookie and only a first timer he beat rookies, and veterans taking the top #1 spot of the podium. Smiling ear too ear Janos thanked his girlfriend and sponsors and said “ SURE BEATS PLAYSTATION2 or X-BOX! ”
Now that is some sweet champaigne!
